Smarten Up Your Street!
Anyone who watches property shows knows how important ‘kerb appeal’ is.  If you’re selling your home, expect prospective buyers to take a good look at the outside first.  Make your house look smart…  mend the fence, cut the grass, trim the hedge, weed the patio…  clean the windows, smarten up the frames, repaint the front door…  whatever it takes to make it inviting.  Make a good first impression, showing that your home is well maintained.

If neighbouring gardens are a mess, it can cause problems.  Perhaps an empty house is overgrown, or an older couple can’t maintain their lawn any more, or maybe the neighbours just don’t care about the state of their own front yard.

Why not offer to sort it out for them?  Most people would welcome a bit of help, and an hour’s gardening might speed up your own sale, or even increase your sale!
